WATCH THE PREMIER OF VICELAND’S “WHAT WOULD DIPLO DO”

After months of hype, it’s finally here. James Van Der Beek’s portrayal of Diplo in the first episode of the Viceland series “What Would Diplo Do” is as hilarious as we’d thought it’d be. It’s a comedic look at what Diplo’s life might look like, and we can only imagine what’s in stored for the next episode.

The first episode starts with Diplo rocking a party, and we’re introduced to an early-teenage boy named Jackson, who’s visiting his aunt as he goes to work at Mad Decent. Later on, Diplo and Dillon Francis’ character, Jasper, and others are seen clowning a Calvin Harris track, as trash talk in the industry isn’t unheard of.

After Diplo mistakes Jackson for a boy whose dying wish is to meet him, the two spend a crazy day together, all the while beefing with Harris on Twitter. At a festival later that night, the two “rival” artists run into each other one-on-one, and for the sake of spoilers, you should watch the rest of it yourself.
