R KELLY CANCELS TOUR DATES DUE TO SEX CULT RUMORS

So we haven’t talked much about it, but this has been all over the news for the last few weeks. R. Kelly was accused of running a sex cult composed of young women, and now his After Party tour is suffering. Two shows in Louisiana were cancelled, followed by another show in Dallas, Texas and one more in Los Angeles. Sources claim the four shows were cancelled due to poor ticket sales and that the venue at his Virginia show last Friday (June 28) was half full.

Obviously we all remember his prior charge back in 2008, he was acquitted after being accused of being in a sex tape with a minor, but he was able to continue his successful career as an R&B superstar. With that said, it wouldn’t be all that surprising if these latest allegations only hurt the singer somewhat in the short term.

R Kelly will continue to play out the rest of his shows, and looks like he has no plans of ending his After Party tour prematurely.
