Happy Friday everyone! Its that time of the week where we shed some light on new music that just recently released. Enjoy!

 

Alicia Keys returns after 4years with a new album, ‘ALICIA‘. This new installment to the catalogue is the 7th studio album by Miss Keys. With 15 tracks, highly notable features and just short of an hour of duration ‘ALICIA’ is nothing short of a musical journey. Here’s a little taste of what you’ll hear on ‘ALICIA’.

 

 

Brent Faiyaz releases his new record Dead Man Walking . This new song features production by himself, Jordan Ware, Lil Rece and band mate Dpat of SONDER. The last release of music from Brent was in February with his album, ‘F*** The World . ‘Dead Man Walking’ is essentially continuing the same feel and sound of his last album. We’ll be looking forward to what the future has in store for Brent.

The new era has begun for Justin Bieber! The new track ‘HOLY‘ featuring none other than Chance The Rapper , is a gospel-charged record for the born-again Justin Bieber. On Thursday night as Chance releases a snippet of the music video he states;

“I made one of my most important songs with one of my most supportive friends and I really want yall to hear it tonight when it drops. I know this record will make you feel something and I know that feeling is love.”

The two are no strangers on collaborating with tracks including “No Brainer” in 2018 along with DJ Khaled and Quavo, “I’m The One” in 2017 and “Confident” in 2013.

Oakland Rappers Kamaiyah and Capolow join forces and create their ‘love letter to the Bay Area’ with a 10 song project called Oakland Nights . Both artist have been making noise for some time now, with Kamaiyah at one point signing to YG‘s 4HUNNID Records, appearing in several Sprite commercials and releasing a Bay Area classic album A Good Night in the Ghetto. To Capolow reaching milestones such as 150,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and earning millions on streams on his singles Outta Sight and Drip. The two artist  had this to say about ‘Oakland Nights’:

Oakland Nights for me is about endless fun, from getting dressed dancing to the music, to having the car bar flowing, partying to the taco truck,” Kamaiya continued. “This project was about creating music that was hella smooth and reminded me of those days, we need that more than ever.”

“It’s always the right time to work with Kamaiyah. She a legend,” Capolow said. “She saw how hard I been working and reached out so for me it was an easy call. This is big for Oakland.”
