NEW MUSIC FRIDAY 10.2.20

First Friday of the month and it did not disappoint! To kick it off we have Bryson Tiller bringing the Trap Soul vibes. Following that we have the greatly anticipated sequel Savage Mode 2 with 21 Savage and super producer Metro Boomin! We also received the another dope visual from Megan Thee Stallion and we’re going to take it to the West Coast with releases from YG, ALLBLACK and Larry June. Enjoy!

Bryson Tiller makes a comeback and releases his new album Anniversary ! Prior of releasing this album Bryson released an 5 year anniversary version of his famous debut project Trap Soul. In a recent sit-down with Billboard, Tiller explained his frustration with life at that time and the difference between that album and Anniversary:

This album is a different energy. There’s a clear difference with this album and True to Self, because at that time I didn’t want to make an album. It was two years after Trapsoul came out and I was going through a lot of shit — like, legal stuff and personal stuff. I didn’t really want to create an album at that time. They can tell you this before and a lot of people don’t know this, but before the album even came out, I didn’t want it out. I was in the studio and I was upset. People were like, “Hey, I heard your album is done. I can’t wait to hear it,” and I was like, “Listen. Don’t even bother.” That’s what I would always tell them. That’s how I felt. I wasn’t really trying to put energy or time into it.

The 10 track album includes only one feature from none other Drake. I can already tell that this album will be on repeat for some time. Let us know what you think.

Metro Boomin and 21 Savage combine forces once again for the sequel: Savage Mode 2! With the voice of Morgan Freeman kicking off the album you felt how epic this project was going to be. Savage Mode 2 includes 15 tracks including features from Drake, Young Thug and Young Nudy.

Make sure to stream Savage Mode 2 and check out the trailer for the album, we are very excited for the visuals that’ll come out soon.

Compton rapper YG releases his fifth studio album My life 4Hunnid. This latest installment follows up last years efforts 4Real 4Real. My Life 4Hunnid tops at 13 tracks with features including Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign and lil Tjay. In a recent sit down with Zane Lowe, YG explained that the album was highly influenced by Tupac:

“This album was highly influenced by Tupac. This is as far as the space I’m in and what I’m dealing with in life — he went through a lot of the stuff that I’m dealing with right now, and he was making records about it, and just the tone and the cadence of how he was coming up. I was playing with a lot of that type of sway of Tupac.”

Megan Thee Stallion joins forces with Young Thug for her latest single Don’t Stop.

With the Alice in Wonderland theme, lights and mesmerizing special FX this music video is next level. Shot by the same director of the WAP music video, Colin Tilley really kept the same essence with the Don’t Stop video.

I can already see this song take over TikTok and all the virtual clubs on live stream! We’re really excited for the new album to drop! Stream Don’t Stop on all platforms.
