METRO BOOMIN BRINGS OUT DRAKE AT EDC LAS VEGAS
For EDC 2017 in Las Vegas, Pasquale Rotella was obviously trying out some new tactics to cater to a wider audience. For the first time, 2 Hip Hop mega producers were slated to play some highly anticipated sets. It didn’t start too well for Metro Boomin as he was about 10-15 minutes late for his set. But unlike DJ Khaled’s major crash a burn, Metro eventually took the stage and absolutely crushed his set.
What made it even more special was the fact that Metro had a little surprise for his fans, and that was a live performance by the Champagne Papi himself. As soon as Drake came out, fans rushed the front of the stage faster than a blink of an eye. Drake performed “Jumpman”, “Gyalchester”, and “Pop Style” before running off the stage. Needless to say, the crowd was hyped by the surprise performance, but many already had speculations that Metro’s set would include a guest performance.

This will definitely be a highlight in Metro’s career, and hopefully not the last time we see him on an EDC stage.
