JAY-Z SHARES NEW ALBUM TEASER FOR “4:44”
Tomorrow, JAY-Z’s 4:44 album will be available on TIDAL, and Hova has been working overtime hyping up the release. Over the last few days, Tidal has been releasing teaser videos of the “4:44” album. Now for Hip Hop fans, this is starting to look a little familiar. Back in 2016 Beyonce had a similar strategy to promote her “Lemonade” album, and the growth of the music streaming service, Tidal. Instead of a traditional album release, it was exclusive to Tidal, and it was a 12 track album/movie which eventually won her the Grammy for best urban contemporary album, Billboard award for top R&B album, BET album of the year, and a few other coveted accolades.
Now there was very little promotions early on when the the album was announced. The hype surrounding 4:44 first began when mysterious ads featuring that constellation of numbers began popping up everywhere. Naturally, folks assumed it was Hov’s way of promoting a new album, and they were right.
If you haven’t see the teasers, check it out below. And get ready for some new Jay-Z music tomorrow!
