DJ KHALED SPEAKS ON FAILED EDC LAS VEGAS SET

It’s been over a week since the infamous EDC set that tarnished DJ Khaled’s image. But don’t expect a little mishap like that to derail the Hip-Hop juggernaut. DJ Khaled went on Power 106 in Los Angeles to talk about his new music, and of course EDC Las Vegas. In his interview at around the 22 minute mark, Khaled touches on a lot of the issues that occurred, but stayed true to the story that he was set up.

Now as an EDC attendee, and someone who watched the whole set fall apart, it’s hard to believe everything Khaled is saying about his EDC nightmare. We can’t prove whether or not he was backstage, on time for his set, but we do know his set did not start till 50 minutes after the time scheduled. And the fact that the tens of thousands of people that were there eventually turned on Khaled, and began chanting for the next act, Yellow Claw.

At the end of the day this temporary embarrassment will fade, with Khaled will remain on top. He’ll continue to work with the best in Hip Hop, and he just dropped a new album, “Grateful” last Friday available now on Spotify. So things aren’t looking too bad for Khaled.
