CES – Home Arcade and Bread Vending Machine
We recently sent Oddeo to CES (Consumer Electronics Show) there he found a few things that caught his eye. He reviewed the new Technics Turntable in a previous post, but here he talks about bringing Retro Arcades to your home and “Getting that BREAD” in 2019.
Arcade1Up – At home Arcade
It seems like everyone is loving the retro gaming trend, with systems like the SNES Classic, C64 Mini and the Playstation Classic flying off the shelves during the holidays.
Arcade1Up is bringing not just the nostalgia of the game but also the arcade feel without having the HUGE arcade game taking up a lot of space. With the Arcade1Up unit being 3/4 the size of an original Arcade Cabinet you are able to fit more of your favorite games in a smaller space, which means your “man cave” or “woman cave” just got that much better!
It has some notable game titles:
- Mortal Kombat
- Golden Tee
- Karate Champ
- Street Fighter TM II (Championship Edition, The new Challengers, Turbo)
- Pac-Man
- Galaga
And so many more, head to their site Arcade1Up and check it out for yourself
BreadBot – Bread Vending Machine
If you’re on a low carb diet this might not be the machine for you. But the BreadBot brings a whole new meaning to “Let’s get that BREAD” in 2019.
This was one of the most popular booths this year at CES with everyone lined up to get a sample and see how the BreadBot worked.
Here are some specs on the BreadBot:
- Produces 10 loaves per hour
- Time to first completed loaf is 90 minutes
- New loaves produced every 6 minutes
- Operates up to a 24 hour duty cycle
- Yields a maximum of 235 loaves per day
- Requires about 30 minutes for daily cleaning
So this may not be for every home in America but we thought it was pretty cool. Keep an eye out for it hitting your local grocery store coming soon!
